Saving Joule

Mishkat is a children’s museum in Riyadh, with a mission to teach children about the importance of renewable energy. Saving Joule was aimed at primary school children, and had to explain how solar, wind, wave, and nuclear power work.

We created an imaginary planet on which a naughty robot, Joule, crashes. With the help of Etta, an inhabitant of the planet, they embark upon an adventure to recharge Joule’s rocket and help him to get back to his fleet. The additional challenge was to do all this without any dialogue!

Since its launch, this film has been delighting thousands of children on the museum’s giant screen.
